Key accounts contribute to a significant proportion of company revenues and as such require the special attention and focus of the Product Marketing Group. The PMM must maintain the health status of the key accounts and ultimately act as the catalyst to retention and growth in these accounts. The PMM will ensure the product mix and strategy is aligned with the requirements of key accounts and will champion new products to meet key account and sector needs.
Implement a successful product/sales plan and communicate what is needed from the company to meet the plan. This includes definition and regular review of pricing and other necessary sales tools to support the needs of indirect and direct sales channels. Develop and implement a Marketing Plan for North America. Maximize ASP through benchmarking, positioning, and leveraging of technology. Identify and characterize solution expansion opportunities, including adjacent and vertical market segments, and maximize the indirect channel return. Key account/customer retention. Maintain the health status of key accounts and customer retention. Effectively communicate product plans and roadmaps to key internal and external customers, such that solutions are well positioned and understood. Ensure sales sectors are trained on the product offering, availability and system tools. Support the field to ensure sales opportunities are turned into orders. Act as the field facing agent for Product Management and Engineering groups. Define the promotional activity plan per region, including tradeshow plan, conference and speaking event activity. Provide pricing strategies for direct and indirect channels for new and existing products based on market trends and benchmarking. Promote and develop company opportunities through product trails and testing regimes, through coordination between account demand and Global Regulatory, Test & Trials group. Travel will be upwards of 30% every month.
Requires a BSEE or BS Marketing or similar with 5+ years experience in sales and marketing with at least 3+ years of that as a PMM in wireless backhaul, IP networking solutions for wireless vendors and carriers, or wireless microwave transmission. Ideal candidate has worked for one of the following; (Ericsson, Ceragon, Redback, Alcatel, Lucent, Nortel, Alvarion, etc.) Must have demonstrated track record of working cross-functionally within the Sales organization, Executive, Operations/Planning, Engineering, and Product Management groups. The PMM will have key working relationships with the regional VP of Sales, Regional Sales Managers, Product Line Management (PLM) for both Business Management and Product Life Cycle, and Engineering including Program Management.
